Now It’s Clear Why Everything is Mixed !

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful. All praises be to Allah, Lord of the Universe. Peace, prayer, and blessing of Allah be upon His prophet, Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
How are you, dear readers? I wish you all always under Allah’s protection.
Our topic in this article will be about mixing, vilely tricking, and the like.

Examples of mixing, tricking, and the Like
These examples went far and wide, from injecting a watermelon with chemical substance to make it redder in color, injecting mead to make it plump, mixing the crackers, honey, cookies, shrimp paste with indecent material, putting rotten slices of fruits in cocktail, forging the vehicle spare parts, to mixing the meat happened to be ingredient of meatballs with rat meats!!! There are still many others, even reaching the point of unbelievable act perceived by human intelligence and heart.
The question is, why do people mix it?
Why were those culprits so enthusiast to pour out energies just to mix the things, which profit was little, and nothing compared to the Paradise and it’s pleasure?
Why would they have the heart to harm other people with their mixed stuffs?
How did they manage to think far of those cruel tricks, which even the scientists never think about how to mix and produce false thing as they did?!
In fact, the answer is:
The greediness of men towards wealth
This is not just a mere news and valid invention, but in the same time, it is a humiliation over such conduct.
Dear readers,
Let us take a look at several verses, hadith, and sayings of the past Islamic scholars that explain about the greediness and avariciousness of men over wealth.
Allah the Exalted decreed,
“and love the riches, loving them ardently.” (QS. Al Fajr/ The Dawn: 20).
Ibn Katsir -may Allah have mercy on him- said, “It means that loving the wealth so dearly.” (See: Tafseer Ibn Katsir)
This overrated love is a disgraceful quality, since it will lead people to collect the wealth using all means careless of which are lawful and which unlawful.
As Sa’dy -may Allah have mercy on him- said,
“It means an overwhelming love, and it is as Allah decreed:
“No; but you prefer the present life, whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring.” (QS. Al A’la: 6-7).
“Nay; the truth is that you love ardently (the good of this world) that can be obtained hastily, and are oblivious of the Hereafter.” (QS. Al Qiyamah/The Last Day: 20-21). Refer to the “Taisir Al Karim Ar Rahman” on the interpretation of chapter al Fajr.
Look at those verses, how the greediness of men over wealth caused him to prioritize this indecent and impermanent world, leaving behind the better and eternal Hereafter.
Allah the Exalted decree,
“and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving.” (QS. Al‘Adiyat: 8).
Ibn Katsir -may Allah have mercy on him- said,
“”The meaning of “loving the goodness dearly” here is riches, and it contains two interpretations: the first is that he loves the riches ardently, and the second is that he is very greedy and stingy due to his over loving of riches. And both interpretations are correct.” See the explanation in Tafseer Ibn Katsir about this verse.
Another interesting explanation about greediness and avariciousness of men over wealth was what stated by Sheikh As Sa’dy -may Allah have mercy on him- :
“Men’s love of riches is what forced him to abandon compulsory matters, and caused him to prioritize his lust over the right of his Lord; all because his eyes were set only on this world and was oblivious of the Hereafter.” See the “Taisir Karim Ar Rahman” about this verse.
“The craving for ever-greater worldly gains and to excel others in that regard keeps you occupied” (QS. At Takatsur: 1).
Al Hasan Al Bashri -may Allah have mercy on him- said, “Boasting over wealth and offsprings has kept you occupied.” See “Tafseer Ibn Katsir” about this verse.
Dear readers,
Now let us take a look at this hadith below, to see how plainly showed the greediness of men over wealth.
“Abdullah Ibn Abbas -may Allah be pleased with them both- said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said, “If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth he would have wanted a third, but it is not filling up the son of Adam but the earth, and Allah will accept the repentance of repenters.” (Narrated by Bukhari)
Greedy and voracious….!!! He already had 2 valleys, but still wanted the third!
Greedy and voracious….!!! He already had millions, yet still wanted billions!
Greedy and voracious…..!!! He already had billions, yet still wanted trillions!
Whereas if he had died and buried, nothing would fill up his mouth but the earth of his grave.
To anyone who is currently deceiving, planning mischief, vilely mixing stuffs, or doing anything that disadvantaging others….
Hopefully, after reading this, you’ll know that riches only has three functions for men, and those are:
“Mutharrif got a narration from his father -may Allah be pleased with him-, he said, “I went to Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- while he was reading chapter At Takatsur, he said, “Men said, ‘My wealth, my wealth’, then he said, ‘O people, what do you have from your wealth, but what you’ve eaten and has run out, or you’ve worn and damaged, or what you gave away as charity, and that (latter) will be left (for you, -ed.) ” (Narrated by Muslim).
In another narration of Muslim there is an additional part as explanation, after Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- explained the three functions of wealth, he said,
“And besides that then it will be gone and being left for humans “ (Narrated by Muslim).
Ibn Katsir -may Allah have mercy on him- mentioned a story that he cited from Al Hafizh Ibn ‘Asakir -may Allah have mercy on him- when he wrote the biography of Al Ahnaf Ibn Qais.
It is said that he saw a man who held some silvers, and he asked, “Whose is these silvers?”, he replied, ” (It is) mine.” He said,
“Indeed, these are yours if you give it as alms to seek for heavenly reward or to be grateful.” Then Al Ahnaf mentioned a poem:
“You belong to the riches if you keep it, but if you spend it (in goodness, -ed) then it is yours.”
The Older The Men, The Greedier
In another word, greediness over wealth will not be tamed by time passed, even though men’s hair whiten and their shoulders stooped. They will keep mixing, tricking, doing mischievous acts; what matters to them is just wealth, wealth, and wealth.
Let us see, dear readers,
The saying of our prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- ,
“Anas Ibn Malik -may Allah be pleased with him- narrated that the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said, “Men will get older, but stronger in two cases; greed for wealth and desire of longevity.” (Narrated by Muslim).
Dear readers,
Because of the greed and avarice of wealth, a man could be more vicious than 2 hungry wolves that were released to goat !!!
Now pay attention…..to a hadith from Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- :
“Ibn Ka’b Ibn Malik Al Anshari narrated from his father -may Allah be pleased with him-, he said, “The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said, ‘Two wolves that were released to a goat were less destructing than the greed of a man of wealth and position that could damage his religion.” (Narrated by Tirmidhi, and classed valid by Sheikh Al Albani in his work, “Shahih At Targhib wa At Tarhib”, hadith no. 3250).
This hadith shows that greediness and avariciousness of wealth and position are more destructing to religion than the danger and viciousness of two hungry wolves that were released to prey a goat.
Dear readers,
Finally, we know that what caused a man to mix things, deceive people about his stuffs, trick people in his trading, and other evil doings that disadvantage many people, muslims in particular, is greed and avarice of men of wealth.
No wonder if a man said, “Even to find the unlawful is hard, moreover the lawful one.”
And no wonder if another said, “The lawful is what I got in my hand, and the unlawful is what I don’t have in my hand, whichever way I took to get it.”
At the end, the fools will use all means to get wealth, even if he must mix things, deceive, lie, forge, or commit other evil means that disadvantage others particularly the muslims.
Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said,
“Abu Huraira -may Allah be pleased with him- narrated that Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said, “The time will come when someone doesn’t care for what he takes, whether it is lawful or unlawful. ” Narrated by Bukhari).
In the narration of Imam Ahmad with different redaction, it is said that,
“Abu Huraira -may Allah be pleased with him- narrated that Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- said, “Indeed, there will come a time when one no longer care what he takes, whether it is obtained through lawful or unlawful ways.” (Narrated by Ahmad).
The hadith above were news brought by Allah’s messenger -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-, revealing the future occurrence and in the mean time serve as a mocking and harsh warning from the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- to prevent his followers from committing it.
Dear readers,
I hope that this explanation might be well understood and practiced, and for those who already did the mixing to stop it, or for those who intended to mix things, to leave it at once.
To be continued….insha Allah..
